Papertrey Ink – May Blog Hop

It’s the 25th and that means it’s time for Papertrey Ink’s monthly blog hop. This is the Inspiration Picture we got to work with:

Blog Hop Inspiration

I was playing with my newest “Center Style: Feminine Die” and pulled out the “Lovely Layers Flower Dies” and comined the “Happiness in Bloom Leaves” to create the 3-d Flower. For the saying, I chose “Sentiment Signs” and for the finished touch i´ve added some sequins.

I wonder how the other participants have interpreted the Challenge. Have a FUN Blog Hop ! Blog-hop-logo

Avery Elle – Crazy Birds

I like these Birds from Avery Elle because the are quick and easy to Color ! Since i´ve made a One Layer i could not color with Copics and this is why i took my old SU Markers to color.

Gerda Steiner -May 2017

This is my take for Gerda Steiner´s progressive Challenge. For May we got “Flowers to You” to work with. Such a sweet little girl and good for many ocassions.  Sometimes i am a bit late for a birthday greeting, so I chose a sentiment for a late card.

Bookmark

I LOVE to read and so i´m making bookmarks from time to time. It´s also always a nice little gift. I mixed and matched Taylored Expressions and Papertrey Ink on this bookmark.

I also join a crafty and chatty group at SCS where each month a new theme is chosen from a Bible verse. The keyword for May is Comfort . Reading brings ME comfort so the Bookmark is just right.

Make it Monday # 283 – Watercoloring Wash Background

Laurie is up with this her first Make It Monday Video and she shared her tips creating a watercoloring wash background. Check out the Video here. I received my order yesterday and had to play with my new goodies directly. I use seldom watercolors and am not satisfied with this background – I still have to practice – but for the beginning it´s quite OK.

From the Heart Stamps – May Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to our {From the Heart Stamps} May Blog Hop ! We have a “CASE it” theme this month. Each team member will be showcasing a card CASE-D (copy and share everything) from another teammate. This will be a huge FUN !!

As you hop along, leave a comment on each blog. We will select a random winner from the comments on each (!) blog.

We are also having a link up contest with this hop. We invite you to pick one of the FTHS DT members and “CASE” any of their cards and add it to linky collection on the FTHS Blog, by Sunday May 7th. Everyone who enters will be entered into a random drawing. One lucky winner will win three images of choice from the store!

So, if you have arrived from our lovely Doni you are on the right track, if not why don´t you start on the {From the Heart Stamps} blog, so you don´t miss anything !

I have the honor to CASE a card from our very talented Jo Edwards. I looked at her blog, went back to Oct, 2015 and decided to case a Christmas Card because I like the layout and the CAS style. I used the same image, the same layout but a different embossing folder, different colors, and design paper. I am happy about the result and I hope Jo and you like it as well.

This is Jo´s card and the Details about it can be found here.

AND now head over to our lovely Jo Edwards and be curious whom she CASE-d from the Team.

Thanks for hopping with us this weekend ! The Hop will end on Sunday, May 7th at 6am EST. Winners will be posted on the {From the Heart Stamps} blog on Wednesday, May 10th.

This is the last {From the Heart Stamps} inspiration for a while.  We are taking a break while Faith continues her treatment. Thank you for your loyalty and support. Hopefully we will be back soon.

Gerda Steiner -April 2017

This is my take for Gerda Steiner´s progressive Challenge. For April we got a cute little “Pen Pal Bear” Image to work with.  Somehow I did not like the bear holding a pen in his hand, so I only used his head. I cut three heads into small squares – one of them mirrored – and made a small notecard.
