Coffee Lover Fall Blog Hop 2016 – 2

Although I do not have time, I made a second card for the FALL Coffee Lovers Blog Hop 2016 ! I totally fell in love with the Papertrey Ink “Twig Wreath” and i´ve combined it with the Die Cuts from the “Colorpop Autumn Kit”. And again I have used the “Latte Love” from Verve , freebies that Julee so generously donated last year or penultimate year. I am not sure anymore.

Please take some time and hop over to take a look at all the beautiful cards from all over the world. They are amazing !

Coffee Lover Fall Blog Hop 2016

It´s time again for the FALL Coffee Lovers Blog Hop 2016 ! Actually, I have no time for it but I could not resist. This is always such a great event with hundreds of participants and great sponsors. Thanks to all that bring this blog hop into a great success.

All you have to do is to create a Fall Coffee themed project. I chose autumnal colors and the “Latte Love” from Verve , freebies that Julee so generously donated last year or penultimate year. I am not sure anymore.

Papertrey Ink – September Blog Hop

It’s the 25th and that means it’s time for Papertrey Ink’s monthly blog hop and this is the Inspiration Picture we got to work with:

Blog Hop

I was a little overwhelmed, I did not know what to do. A gift wrapping ? A tag ? A Card ? Therefore, it has become at the end a “Non Traditional Color” Christmas Card. The german saying means “Merry Christmas”.

Below you can see my first try. My husband said to me :”What you have done here ? “Merry Christmas” on a sympathy card ?” I had to smile because that was my thought too. It looks more like sympathy because in Germany black is seen as a sign of mourning.  That’s why I pimped my card. I´ve sponged the black cardbase with white ink so it looks a bit like snow and added some green Designpaper. I think in this way the card has become a little more friendly. What do you think ?pti-peaceful-pinecone

I wonder how the other participants have interpreted the Challenge. I bet i see a lot of Pinecones. Have a FUN Blog Hop !

Papertrey Ink – Card Box

This time I have no card but a card box for you to show. It is perfect for 5- 6 cards, but unfortunately it is too small to add Envelopes. They fit into it, but I would have to fold it differently on top so the box closes properly. But perhaps the instruction was only meant for cards. Anyway, a nice packaging for cards.

I think the Colors of the Wreath/Leaves fits perfect for the current Make it Monday Challenge “Use Florals on a Masculine Project”. In fairness, I must say that I would not give this card box to a man but i think the Colors would be OK for a masculine Project.

From the Heart Stamps – Autumn Wishes

Since Faith, the owner of {From the Heart Stamps} is recovering from surgery and have to go through her treatments, the Designteam needs to take a break.  But I wanted to work again with the Images. They are too sweet not to do it ! And since fall is just around the corner I’ve went with “Owls on a Fence”.

Colored with Copics, the DP is a leftover from a Card Kit.

For my layout i´ve used Sweet Sketch Saturday 2 # 98

Papertrey Ink – Bountiful Blessings

Finally i found some time to play with my “Make it Market Mini Kit: Color Pop Autumn” from Papertrey Ink !  I still need a lot of practice to work with stencils to make shadows, but it’s fun. I also like the matching Stamps to create a Multilayer effect.
