Papertrey Ink – With Love

In October there was again “Falliday Fest” at SCS. There are challenges and different techniques every day. A great fun. I’ve done over 30 projects and can not show everything but I will show a small number of selected cards on my blog.

This was a fun technique. I inked up my Papertrey Ink “Through the Trees” stamp with different colors and add a little water to get this watercolored look. Love how it came out.

We Love You Dawn ! Blog Hop

I am very excited to be part of the Official Blog Hop for Dawn McVey !

Dawn has been struggling with health problems for years, but now she was very lucky and could be transplanted. She is now a proud small intestine transplant survivor. I hope that Dawn recovers well and she can live her life more normal again.

We Love Dawn

Dawn is known for her colorful, vibrant projects and now we can give her the same back by making a colorful Get Well card. I hope my card brings joy and a smile on Dawn’s face….

I use one of Dawn Set´s called “Friendly Flowers” , her “Feminine Center Style Die” and i think two of her (and mine) favorite Colors “Hawaiin Shores” and “Raspberry Fizz”.

Papertrey Ink – Very Merry

I love to play with new goodies and I LOVE this stamp set by Papertrey Ink. Using it in so many different colors, you will see !

Papertrey Ink – Christmas Wreath

I do not know how many Christmas cards I still need, but I have decided to make at least two in the same way. This saves time and makes fun with some small changes two different and yet almost equal cards to make.

I´ve mixed and matched the Papertrey Ink “Wreath for all Seasons” and “Deck the Halls” Stamps Sets/Dies. I do not know why but I love Christmas wreaths. How about you ?  Ich habe o.g. Sets miteinander kombiniert. Ich weiss nicht warum aber ich liebe Weihnachtskränze – Du auch ?

From the Heart Stamps- Autumn Flower Jar

In memory of Faith from {From the HeartStamps} I colored some of her images. This lovely autumnal image called “Autumn Flower Jar”.

I have mentioned that I always color to the end, because I adjust the coloration to my chosen Designpaper. Here it was the other way around. It’s so easy to color, but I find it very hard to find the right paper afterwards. Here I have not found a paper to the blue tone of the flower but I think it is ok. How do you do it ? First color or at the end ?

I took the Viva La Verve September Sketch for my layout.

Sour Creme Container – Little Gifts

I have a new job and many new nice colleagues. Because everyone took me so well in the team, I wanted to thank them. I wanted to do something personal and chose these small “Sour Cream Containers”. I still have an retired 12″x12″ Designpaper from SU called “Sweet Pea” , which I could use wonderfully.  I closed the opening of the container with a clip. This way, he does not break when opening. It containes 2 Ritter Sport mini chocolate cubes.

I needed 45(!) pieces and made 50

And of course I also made a “Thank You” card because the colleagues from the headquarters are sitting in a different place. For them the Containers goes out with a courier.

I´ve used “Happiness in Bloom” from Papertrey Ink and a german sentiment from Inkystamps called “Kurz und Knapp”.

I hope they are happy with my little thanks.Keep your fingers crossed !!

Papertrey Ink SAF 2017 – Bronze

My final card for Papertrey Ink Stamp-A-Faire 2017.  At the End i managed to participate in three Challenges. Afterall ! Kimberly Crawford challenged us to create a project using some kind of metallic.

I needed a quick and easy wedding card and thought of “Circled Symbols”. I have embossed in gold but it does not work. You could not read the Mr and Mrs – I suppose the lines in the stamp are too fine for embossing powder. But with golden ink and my Misti it worked out very well.
