Papertrey Ink – With Love

In October there was again “Falliday Fest” at SCS. There are challenges and different techniques every day. A great fun. I’ve done over 30 projects and can not show everything but I will show a small number of selected cards on my blog.

This was a fun technique. I inked up my Papertrey Ink “Through the Trees” stamp with different colors and add a little water to get this watercolored look. Love how it came out.

From the Heart Stamps- Slot Mashine

I will end this week with another {From the Heart Stamps} card. Faith’s death is still incomprehensible, but through your digital images I will always remember her and also the time we have spent “online” and in “CyberSpace” together.

I used one of the Images of “Slot Machine Birdbrain” on my card. I do not know how long the shop will be open – so far – it still seems to work. So, use the chance to buy the images you always wanted to have. I would also like to remind you of the “GOFundMe” page. So far, more than $ 4.700 has been donated for Faith´s family. Every little donation helps. THANKS !

From the Heart Stamps- Autumn Flower Jar

In memory of Faith from {From the HeartStamps} I colored some of her images. This lovely autumnal image called “Autumn Flower Jar”.

I have mentioned that I always color to the end, because I adjust the coloration to my chosen Designpaper. Here it was the other way around. It’s so easy to color, but I find it very hard to find the right paper afterwards. Here I have not found a paper to the blue tone of the flower but I think it is ok. How do you do it ? First color or at the end ?

I took the Viva La Verve September Sketch for my layout.

  • Supplies
  • Stamp: FTHS Autumn Flower Jar
  • Paper: SU Elegant Eggplant, MME A beautiful Life,
  • Ink:    Copics

From the Heart Stamps- Harvest Medley

Because of my DT work for {From the Heart Stamps} I have many printed and uncolored images on my desk and I had the need to color. I do not usually do that before I have chosen a layout and paper, but now I just colored. Since Faith died in July, it’s the first time I use her images. I miss her very much and also the work with my team buddies.

I used “Harvest Medley” on my card. I do not know how long the shop will be open – so far – it still seems to work. So, use the chance to buy the images you always wanted to have. I would also like to remind you of the “GOFundMe” page. So far, more than $ 4500 has been donated for Faith´s family.

Papertrey Ink SAF 2017 – Bronze

My final card for Papertrey Ink Stamp-A-Faire 2017.  At the End i managed to participate in three Challenges. Afterall ! Kimberly Crawford challenged us to create a project using some kind of metallic.

I needed a quick and easy wedding card and thought of “Circled Symbols”. I have embossed in gold but it does not work. You could not read the Mr and Mrs – I suppose the lines in the stamp are too fine for embossing powder. But with golden ink and my Misti it worked out very well.

Papertrey Ink- SAF 2017 – Wood

I had time to take another challenge for Papertrey Ink Stamp-A-Faire 2017. I wish I had more time, but I have to skip the more time consuming – but the many different techniques are great! Thanks for all the wonderful Videos !  Natasha Trupp challenged us to create a project using a an inked impression plate. I don´t have any PTI Impressions Plates so i went with an Embossing Folder. It works the same way.

Since fall is not far away (summer is always much too short), I took out my “Make it Market Mini Kit: Color Pop Autumn” to create this card. I really like the pre-printed cut outs, they are perfect to create a quick and easy card.

Papertrey Ink- SAF 2017 – Take Ten Warm Up

It´s Papertrey Ink Stamp-a-Faire 2017, that means Challenges and Tutorials the whole weekend ! I will not be able to participate much, but I start with the Warm Up ChallengeWe should choose one of 10 photos as inspiration and I have decided for black and white.

I used the “Splits: With Love” Mini Stamp and the matching Die.  My card is Clean and Simple and also very small. It measured 2,75″ x 4″ – perfect as a little note.
