It´s Wednesday and time for a brand new Challenge over at {Little Red Wagon}. Brenda is hostess this week she wants to see “Slider, Shaker Cards etc “. Es ist wieder Mittwoch und Zeit für eine neue Challenge auf Little Red Wagon. Brenda ist Gastgeberin und sie hat sich o.g. Thema ausgesucht.
I don’t like doing techniques because it just takes too long for me. But I found a way to make shaker cards very quickly. The solution is a clear card sleeve. Simply insert a piece of paper – stamped or not – fill in sequins and other material and close on the back. Stick on a card – done. I then decorated the card sleeve afterwards. And since it goes so quickly, I made two cards at the same time. Ich mache nicht gerne Techniken, da es mir einfach zu lange dauert. Aber ich habe eine Art entdeckt, ganz schnell Shaker Karten zu machen. Die Lösung ist eine durchsichtige Kartenhülle. Einfach ein Stück Papier einlegen – gestempelt oder nicht – Pailletten und anderes Material einfüllen und auf der Rückseite schließen. Auf eine Karte kleben – fertig. Ich dann habe anschließend auf der Kartenhülle dekoriert. Und da es so schnell geht, habe ich gleich zwei Karten gemacht.

Your cards look fabulous, Imke! I always struggle with technique cards as well so this challenge was good to get us out of our box. And what a great idea to use card sleeves! I don’t know what they are but they clearly work perfectly for shakers!!
