It´s Wednesday and time for a brandnew Challenge over at {Little Red Wagon}. I am hostess this week and i choose the theme “Embellish it “. Es ist wieder Mittwoch und Zeit für eine neue Challenge auf Little Red Wagon. Ich bin Gastgeberin und habe mir o.g. Thema ausgesucht.
Embellishments are an integral part of our works. There are many and I’m curious which ones you use. I chose Enamel Dots and Staples. My favorite were and are actually buttons. But that makes the cards bulky and expensive to ship. That’s why I decide more and more often for things that are nice and flat. Verzierungen sind auf unseren Werken nicht wegzudenken. Es gibt eine Vielzahl und ich gespannt welche Ihr benutzt. Ich habe mich für Enamel Dots und Staples entschieden. Mein Favorit waren und sind eigentlich Knöpfe. Doch das macht die Karten bulky und teuer im verschicken. Deswegen entscheide ich mich immer häufiger für Sachen die nicht so dick sind.
This time a baby card was created. More babies have been born since Corona and now I needed a card again. Isn’t this baby themed circle awesome? It´s from Taylored Expressions and I love it ! I also knitted a baby blanket as a gift. I’ve been working on it from time to time since April and in the end it was finished on time. I hope the recipient likes it. Dieses Mal ist eine Baby Karte entstanden. Seit Corona werden ja mehr Babies geboren und jetzt brauchte auch ich wieder eine Karte. Ist dieser Kreis mit vielen Babymotiven nicht großartig ? Ich bin begeistert. Ich habe außerdem als Geschenk eine Babydecke gestrickt. Seit April arbeite ich immer mal wieder daran und am Ende ist sie pünktlich fertig geworden. Ich hoffe dem Empfänger gefällt sie.

This card is so perfect in every way. If I were the recipient of it I would frame it in my baby’s room! So glad you shared it with us this week at Tic Tac Toe!
Das ist eine wirklich tolle Baby-Karte. Der Kreis mit den vielen kleinen Motiven ist ein richtiger Hingucker und sehr schön verarbeitet – zart und farbenfroh zugleich. Ich verwende auch gerne flache Motive wenn es darum geht die Karte zu versenden, Papierblüten mag ich zwar sehr aber ich habe da immer Angst dass sie auf dem Postweg zerdrückt werden. Ich bin mir sicher, dass das Geschenk viel Freude bereiten wird, vor allem auch die wunderschöne Babydecke. Vielen Dank fürs Mitmachen bei der Alphabet challenge.

My choice of embellishments is very much impacted by weight and postage costs as well, especially if I know there is a chance the card will be posted. I used to do a lot of machine stitching and adding charms, but nowadays it’s mostly pearls and rhinestones.
Your card is a fantastic baby design, love the multitude of baby items and I’ve always loved your use of staples in your designs,
The round shape and cute baby images really caught my eye, as well as the pretty color combo. Such a darling baby card and an amazing blanket you made as a gift! Your friend will certainly cherish both, and I’m so glad you shared with us at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge this week!
