Penny Black – Sincere Sympathy

Unfortunately I needed a sympathy card again. In Germany “black” is the color for mourning cards, clothes at furneral etc. and I do not like that at all. I think it may be something colorful, because the occasion is already sad enough. But it’s a tradition and hard to go against it. Nevertheless, I try it again and again, and I realize it is good for those affected. Most are “happy” about something colory because it’s so different than expected. I hope with this card it is the same. Ich brauchte leider mal wieder eine Beileidskarte. In Deutschland ist “Schwarz” die Farbe für Trauerkarten, Kleidung bei Beerdigungen usw und das gefällt mir gar nicht. Ich finde es darf ruhig etwas farbig zugehen, denn der Anlass ist schon traurig genug. Aber es ist eine Tradition und schwer dagegen an zu gehen. Ich versuche es dennoch immer wieder und ich merke es kommt bei den Betroffenen gut an. Die meisten “freuen” sich über etwas Farbe- denn es ist so ganz anders als erwartet. Ich hoffe mit dieser Karte ist es genauso.
