Vietnam / Cambodia Trip

That’s why it was so quiet on my blog the past few weeks. We were on vacation ! And as promised I will show you some photos of our Vietnam /Cambodia 16 days Roundtrip. There are more than 2000 photos were taken which takes weeks to look through. But here’s a little quick selection:

Hanoi, Quarter of 36 Streets
Halong Bay
Halong Bay
Hai-Van-Pass , Weather divide between North and South Vietnam
Hue, Thien-Mu Pagode

Hoi An, Old Imperial City
Typical Market

Cambodia, Angkor Wat
Cambodia, Angkor Wat
Cambodia, Bayon Temple
Cambodia, Ta-Prohm Temple
Overgrown with trees
Cambodia, Phnom Penh Imperial Palace
Saigon, Post Office
Swimming Markets
One of the many Temples

We ate “Pho” soup a traditional breakfast in Vietnam, sitting on small plastic stools.

We had a great time. Vietnam and Cambodia is worth the trip. Prefer to live there ? No, but it’s exciting to get to know other cultures, different food, the way of life – this makes traveling, it forms.

The vacation time goes unfortunately far too quickly and the everyday starts earlier than expected, right ? I hope I could give you an impression of what we have experienced.

Gorgeous photos. My SIL travels to Cambodia every 8 weeks on business. She never ventures out beyond the plant she must go to and gets deathly sick each time. You found the beauty…I must share this with her.
